Georgia Tech PCA Project:
Facilitating Middleware for Polymorphous Computing Architecture

The Morphware Forum is a joint activity of the participants in the Polymorphous Computing Architectures (PCA) program of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), as well as other interested developers of embedded computing hardware, software, and application technology. The purpose of the Morphware Forum is to define an open, portable software environment for the development of high performance applications on PCA platforms. The major activity of Georgia Tech's project under the PCA program is the organization and leadership of the Morphware Forum.  The major products are the documents, software, and standards that will be developed by the Morphware Forum. Information on these activities and products are available at the Morphware Forum web site.

The co-principal investigators of this project are Dr. Mark A. Richards of the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and Mr. Dan Campbell of the Georgia Tech Research Institute's Radar Systems Division.

The U.S. Navy SPAWAR Systems Center - San Diego and Vanderbilt University's Institute for Software Integrated Systems are also members of the Georgia Tech PCA team.
