EMTEF is comprised of the following test ranges and laboratories:

 Near-Field Range - Features a 10x20 ft. scanner with a laser-based correction system to minimize out-of-plane probe position errors.
   
  •  
 Spherical Near-Field Range - An NSI instrumented range which can accommodate antennas up to 8 ft. in diameter.
   
  •  
 Far-Field Range - The complete high precision test facility includes a 1300 ft. antenna range and an instrumented rooftop radar laboratory.
   
  •  
 Anechoic Test Chamber - Instrumented chamber suitable for indoor testing of small to medium sized antennas at frequencies from 200 MHz to 110 GHz.
   
  •  
 RCS Turntable Range - The RCS turntable range supports a variety of instrumentation radars at frequencies from 5 GHz to 140 GHz.
