The Shielded Antenna Chamber is an instrumented chamber suitable for indoor testing of electrically small to medium-sized antennas at frequencies from 200 MHz to 110 GHz. Some examples of antennas suitable for this range include feedhorn, small cellular/PCS antennas, and small prototype arrays. The chamber is 20 x 36 ft. in size. It has a combination of 12", 24" and 36"absorber fully covering the shielded walls, ceiling, and doors. It uses an FR 959 automated antenna measurement system with broadband HP synthesized sources and HP 8510-based Vector Network Analyzer. The positoner is a dielectric roll-over-azimuth positioner. |
